Bio Heavy Oil
Bio heavy oil is a product that is treated through thermochemical methods to meet the quality standards for fuel use using animal and vegetable oils such as palm oil and soybean oil.
It replaces Bunker C oil, which is mainly used in power plants and ships.

Advantages of bio heavy oil
It is an eco-friendly and renewable energy source.
Bio-heavy oil is an eco-friendly fuel that improves air quality by reducing the emission of harmful substances: sulfur oxides by 95-100%, nitrogen oxides by more than 50%, carbon dioxide by 100%, and particulate matter by more than 90%.
Existing equipment can be utilized.
It is an economical renewable energy source that enables power generation companies to reduce costs by utilizing existing heavy oil power generation facilities.
It is a bioenergy source that is supported by policy demands.
It is being disseminated by policies in accordance with the Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (RPS), a regulatory mandate to supply new and renewable energy based on the 「New and Renewable Energy Development, Use, and Dissemination Promotion Act (Renewable Energy Act)」.
What is the Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (RPS)?
A regulatory mandate that obliges power generation companies with power generation facilities of a certain size (500 MW) or larger to supply more than a certain percentage of the total power generation using renewable energy.

Our own storage facility is scheduled to be completed in June.
We have our own bio-heavy oil storage facility in Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City, and are therefore able to flexibly deal with securing raw materials and supplying products.
