Peat Business

We develop and supply peat from Sakhalin which improves the domestic livestock environment.
SI Resources has acquired the overseas exclusive distribution right from Biotex-Torf, which has a peat mining right in Russia (Sakhalin), and is distributing Sakhalin peat in Korea through several local sales subsidiaries.
‘Peat’ is an eco-friendly natural material presented as a solution to the major challenges of the livestock environment, such as ‘compost maturity’, ‘moisture control’ and ‘reduction of odors,’ and it is highly economical because it is recycled as high-quality compost after use. We will expand the domestic peat market with better access to the domestic market and faster market response compared to the existing Nordic products.

Bio Heavy Oil Business

We manufacture and sell bio heavy oil, the source of eco-friendly renewable energy.
SI Resources expanded its business area to new and renewable energy business (manufacturing and sales of heavy bio fuel oil) in consideration of the paradigm shift in the world’s energy and environment in response to climate change and the company’s energy resources distribution capability.
SI Resources incorporated a local Malaysian subsidiary that has a license for the raw material supply market for bio-heavy oil as an affiliate and is expanding the supply of bio-heavy oil to leading energy companies in Korea based on stable raw material securement.

Bituminous Coal Business

We develop and distribute high-quality, low-sulfur bituminous coal from Sakhalin.
Since entering the Russian (Sakhalin) bituminous coal development and distribution business in 2010, SI Resources has been supplying bituminous coal for fuel to domestic and overseas power plants and cement manufacturers along with global partners.
In recent years, despite the international trend of coal phase-out to cope with environmental problems, some advanced countries are making efforts to overcome the environmental problems of coal with technology. SI Resources will respond flexibly to the paradigm shift in energy and environment and continue to pioneer the market.

Building Materials Business

We supply building materials and consumer goods to Sakhalin, Russia.

SI Resources supplies building materials to Sakhalin based on its geographical strength with better market access than the Russian home country and the experience of the existing Russia (Sakhalin) business. Due to the geographical nature of Sakhalin in the Russian Far East, the supply of locally produced building materials is not smooth, and the demand for building materials is increasing exponentially due to the increasing number of houses (apartments, detached houses) construction.
SI Resources is diversifying its product line into consumer goods (food, household goods, etc.) along with the expansion of the supply of existing building materials. We will strengthen the survey of market demand and expand our product sourcing and supply capability to expand our market share and expand our business territory to other regions of the Russian Far East.
